One of Ri's minors while studying at university for two bachelor's degrees was journalism. She also received a two-year certificate in Fiction Writing from UCLA. She spent five years as an Associate Editor with a small publisher in NY. She has been a contract editor for various other publishers and a freelance editor working with independent authors since 2020.
